    MalevolentMask's Sketchbook (critiques welcomed!)

Hello, my name is Mal, I'm a seventeen year old that hopes to go into illustration and entertainment based arts and I just want to improve myself and have fun in the process of it. So feel free to rip apart my stuff and tell me what I should look into and focus on improving. I have very few people in my life that truly want to criticize what I do so its hard for me to improve.

Quite honestly I'm nervous but looking forward to posting my stuff here.

Just some quick figure studies. I have some difficulty though because I can only do figure studies with clothes on. I'm not old enough to attend any figure studies classes. I'll keep trying to study the figure despite this none the less. I would use other sources for studies but i'm not sure where to start. OTL

    Nice stuff.
I like how you already use light and color in your paintings. The first and the second are my favourites. The faces seems a bit off. I think some practice in headstructure would be great.

Okay i'll try to fit that in more. We're currently working on portraits in class so that should help! \o/

Just finished this for my digital imaging class. Gah it was fun to make but I need to download better fonts and layout my stuff better. (This was just a simple design for the NAIAS or the Detroit auto show.)
