Question Advice needed for new monitor! :)

    Hey guys,

So my computer died a while ago hence my lack of posts for months. However I've recently got a new machine but my current monitor isn't cutting the mustard.

I figured the monitor you use is pretty damn important considering that's what your looking at 24/7, and if colors and contrast are off it would make a big impact on your work.

SO I need some advice on a decent monitor.
My budget is 150 or less.

Here's one I've just found, does it get a thumbs up?

    Cheers everyone!

Well I have this one http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/aoc-i2...itors~11236968

It's IPS which will always be better than TN, mainly so you can keep with color consistency.

You will want to buy a cable that will work with this monitor as it has not DVI ports, but I do know they make

and if you have a DP http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/advent...18491-pdt.html

While AOC is Envision and I tend to avoid their cheapness. I do have to say for a budget e-IPS I'm actually rather happy with them. They're really thin. The base I'm not completely happy with but for looking at pictures, they still beat my TN panels. I was partial to my Samsung monitor before I got these (I have 2)
