SCROLL DOWN! OBEY! OBEY! SCROLL DOWN!
wow, this is from june 2004, nearly 2 years ago! this was called "daily sketchbook" back then.... hahaha
please scroll down.
Hello, how is everyone?
my computer is working fine again after two weeks. (well, it`s running stable the first time since i've bought it) now, my old daily sketchbook has been deleted, i suppose, because i didn`t post for this period.
but i`ve not been idle. behold:
drawing with opencanvas for the first time in life drawing class:
These are all 10-15 min. positions
maybe i'll post some trad media ketches soon, but maybe i'll be to lazy to scan them!

now, some studies i did at home,
namely teh view from my window once in
the morning, once at night, some tone studies and a quick sketch of my woman.
the sketch of my girlfriend is maybe a bit to "impressionistic" (that is true to teh appearance) to show the form of her face, with the licht coming from the back and all, you know.

You got some nice brushstrokes there, though I'd like to see some more 'finnished' sketches.
Oh, and don't be lazy...some traditional sketches would be sweet.
Keep it up!

You've got some very cool stuff in here. The traditional sketches remind me of Hogarth. As before said, I'd like to see you take a few of those color studies a bit further.
Keep up the good work!

i am currently reading hogarths dynamic figure drawing. (well i`ve known it for years, but never actually read it), it`s very interesting. and, i`ve been using a graphite block, i think hogarth uses it too in his drawings.
so, i have been neglecting ink for quite a while, and discovered that i can`t draw dragons.

So, it`s my summerholidays now, and i don`t get my daily life drawing fix... so i go to the park in my neighbouhood to do some life sketches. that's teh best way to learn to draw, as you also get a nice tan :firedevil .
i'm just posting one page of sketches, some trees too.
