    first post. sketches

Hi everybody. Ive been lurking for a loong time, posted some replies, but never decided to show anything of my own.

First of all, Id like to thank everybody in this forum for their inspiration. This is a great place place to get motivation.

Im trying to develop my painting and drawing skills. I feel Im improving, but its the fewer times when I like something Ive done. I guess it happens to all of us. Anyway, thought Id share some of my "art".

Heres some quickies I did this week.

Its very hard for me to create interesting things, everything seems so dull

    C&C welcome.

Quick_Sketch- Thanks! Youre right about the sketches being to loose. At first I thought it was ok, now I think theyd look much better if I had spent some more time on them...

Dutch Badass- Im glad you like it, thanks. About finishing it... I always think Ill redo some of my sketches when I get better to see my improvement in the way I aproach things.

Heres another "I should have spent more time on it" sketches.

i really like the first one, has kind of a gritty private eye noir feel to it!

the iron jiant would be cool if you cleaned the lines up a bit and polished it up a bit.

i love the mech ones(the monochrome ones) they remind me of the designs you see on t-shirts..... very overpriced ones :nono:

all in all great work, with a little more practice you'll have won me over as a fan

LuisNTC-I love that movie! Couldnt avoid the influence.

steiner116 - thanks for the support! I never "finish/polish" my digital paintings. Thatd be a great way to push myself. I should try and finish one of my sketches.

Denart- thanks!I find it sometimes very difficult to paint with colour, B/W is "less complicated".

softdrawer- Im glad you like it.thanks!

thanks for the support everybody. Ill try to post "finished" digital paintings.
