Hello all,

I am posting to inform you about the only Low Residency MFA program in the country dedicated exclusively to Illustration, and to give everyone an opportunity to ask questions about this prestigious program to help you decide if this format may be the right fit for you or someone you know.

Low residency means that you can earn your masters in only three years without interrupting your current job or lifestyle. Best of all, the program is still considered full time, so you are eligible for student loans!

This Low Residency program is conducted over three, two-week summer sessions in consecutive Julys at the University of Hartford's campus in Hartford, CT with classes in Illustration, Children's Book Illustration, Computer Illustration, History of Illustration, Business of Illustration, Promotion, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, etc.

Between these three two-week studio and lecture hall packed residencies, we meet for one week each November and March in various cities to meet with the leading illustrators and illustration entrepreneurs in that area. We tap into what is happening right now with the best of the illustration field in cities such as Ft. Worth/Dallas TX, LA/Pasadena CA, New York City NY, and San Francisco CA. These contacts give you a chance to tune into what's leading edge thinking in illustration.
