Suggestions for concept art related gifts?

Each year my family has a secret santa draw with a limit of 50 (about $75).
This year I was thinking of asking for books related to concept art and thought you guys would have some great suggestions.

I'm looking for books that are full of cool stuff you can spend hours looking over and get inspired from. My brother got me a concept art collection from Mass Effect a few years ago and that was really interesting.

However as someone who is quite new to the actual doing side, I won't object to books that are more 'technical' or instructive.

Of course it doesn't have to be books, if you can think of something even more useful, id love to hear it.

    How nice

I suggest the James Gurney books: Imaginative Realism and Color and Light: A Guide for the Realist Painter.

    I agree!
I have both, you can get lost in them.

I also suggest the "Digital Painting Techniques" books.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, they look really good - I've added them to the list. Anyone else have any other suggestions?
I'm surprised there isn't a sticky for essential reading, unless there is and I've overlooked it.

Why not go for a Gnomon Workshop DVD, plenty of choice there.

Not exactly what you're talking about, but the closest we have: http://conceptart.org/forums/showthr...s-Reading-List

My Syd Mead books are falling apart from overuse, maybe Sentury 2? I paid about 50quid for Oblagon and the same for Sentury 1...
