Hey guys, I've been hesitant to put this up because it wasn't something I spent a ton if time on, but it's the first piece I've baked. Anyway thanks for checking it out. I'm working on a piece now using monster clay and I'm planning to put some time into it. I'm kind of limited on time so it'll probably take a while but I've been having fun with it. This site is really an inspiration to me. So many great artists. I can't take classes at this time so the Internet is my classroom. Anyway here are some pics.
And the beginning of my monster clay project
I've already realized I made the tree part of my sculpt way to big. I'm not concerned with making an exact copy, more just using my drawing for inspiration and letting the sculpt form from that, but I may resize those to closer resemble the picture.
That monster sculpture is shaping up nicely, just a thought added aerial roots might enhance the grounded look
I like the gorilla (wish he had more stomach).
