Thanks a lot, stevebeadleart Well you know, you can always do more And none of you can see how much time I'm wasting doing nothing.
Thanks for your feedback GrayPersona Yeah, I could do more value studies. I really should step my game up!
I did very little today.
I tried to finish this one. I'll probably leave this one unfinished and start on a new one. But I still have to do some gemstone and hair studies.
I also started on a self portrait with conté pencils. It was hard! I ended up just doodling shapes while trying out the pencils.

Been reading about colour theory. But I think I have to stick with greyscale for a couple of weeks.
Some mindless anatomy doodles.
Gesture drawings. 60 and 30 seconds. I really needed this.
Started on a self portrait with pencils and switched to conté pencils. Mission failed Couldn't handle the conté. Gonna try to do a still life tomorrow, but with ordinary pencils.
Just playing around. Nothing serious. Yet so static...
Sketches for an illustration.

Thanks, iven Who doesn't like nude people?
I procrastinate too often. That is why I fail. Starting today - daily updates.
Time to dump some stuff!
From photo refs.
Sketches of cool chicks.
Not much progress here. I'll come back to it later, because...
...I decided to try seeing this one through. I can't just give up everytime the going gets tough. Have I learned nothing from Karate Kid?!

Got a late start today.
I don't think this one will get any better so I'm gonna stop working on it.
Just for fun:
Found Shaddy's brushes and Youtube videos and decided to try them out on a sculpture study. But, you know, I don't really have a clue about what I'm doing so things aren't going too well... for now

You've improved so much in a few months, I'm jealous. I think you have a good understanding of form, especially with your figure drawings and how you use contour lines wrapping round some of your figures to denote form and give them solidity. Keep doing what you're doing, with the mixture of studies, still lifes and drawings from imagination. I have a feeling you're going to be great in a few years. Now I just need to steal some of your motivation

Your awesome advices will be very much appreciated

Thanks Sigh74 I think one should always be open to trying out new methods of drawing and keep playing around and having fun.
Wow, peppercake, your comment just made my night :3 Yeah, I realised (a little too late) that I can't just focus on one thing at a time. I have too mix studies with imaginative work. Hopefully it will pay off in the long run.
Worked on a prop assignment from the concept art course I'm enrolled in. Unfortunately, it's far from done and the deadline was today. I should've started earlier. I frickin' suck...

I didn't post anything last week because I was out of town visiting relatives. Lame excuse, I know.
