    CyanCoffee's Sketchbook

Hey! My name is Riku. I'm 19 years old and from Finland. I'm trying to improve my skills as an artist and will be posting things here in hopes of getting constructive critique. I'll try to post quite often, let's see how it goes.

Feel free to comment about anything at all!

Starting this up with some environment studies i did a couple days ago.

I really like the second picture. Maybe change the color of the clothes on the person. It's blending with the surroundings too much. Other than that your sketch looks great.

Hi! These are awesome - I love the composition and colours

I particularly love environment paintings because they are my worst thing!

Hope to see more from you

Really good stuff here! The study on the left from post number 8 is gorgeous and I love your brush stokes, but the left iris is too big. The eyes are the first things we look at so they should be correct. keep up the great work

OMG your studies are fantastic. I love how lush and wet your digitals look. That's something I'm working on.

So those landscapes are right behind your house right? You're very luck to live in such a beautiful country.

anatomy study. I made a line drawing of a high res nude and then lowered the opacity and drew the bones into it. Seems pretty useful of an exercise, might do one with muscles at some point.

Still working on anatomy from the Bridgman books. Also did a study of a photo of a lake in northern Finland. Sorry about the "trash content". I really should post some of my own sketches, hopefully that will happen soon! I just feel like i have too much to improve on.
