    My linework

When I did this piece, I feel like there is something I didn't do right with my linework, but I don't know what exactly; can someone help me out? Thanks.

Well, to me it looks like you pet your lines way too much causing everything look kinda scribbly, instead of using larger, continuous strokes and pen pressure to define the form. Also I'd think whether you do your strokes "against" the form. Also how do you hold your pen?

for shading I hold it under my palm. For smaller details I try to hold it like how you hold and art pen but I have a habit of switching back to how you hold a writing pencil.
