My first sculptures
I would like to show you my first sculptures.
These sculptures were completely improvised, so basicly I just grabbed some clay and started messing around until I got a clue of what I was doing.
Please keep in mind that these are my first sculptures! I hope to get better over time, but there are still a lot of things that don't work out the way I want to.
After showing you these pictures I will tell you something about the sculptures itself.
Picture 1: Samurai
Picture 2: Samurai
Picture 3: Taunting Dragon
Picture 4: Taunting Dragon
The first, yet still unpainted, sculpture is my Samurai. I wanted to make either a head or a bust. It became a little bit of both, because I didn't really know what to do with the body. The Samurai is made out of Super Sculpey and was smoothed out a little bit before baking using some turpenoid. It took me 2 days to make.
The second sculpture, which I did paint, is some sort of Dragon with its tongue hanging out. The dragon is made out of Fimo and was sculpted, baked and painted in one day.
I would love any form of tips, critique and constructive critisism!
Thank you for reading,
