My name is David French. I'm an art student about to graduate university. Here is my illustration focused website. I'm going to be looking to get a job, probably with a small independent game studio or perhaps with a design firm.
I'm looking for crits on the general design and flow of the website. I'm also looking to make sure it functions in all the various browser configurations that can be thrown at it. Lastly, I need the gallery selection itself critted to know whether or not the pieces fit together well.
Here is the link to the website: http://goo.gl/tC448
Here are is a sampling of the pieces in the full gallery on the website:
Thank you for any insight you can give!

I think it is very unusual and unique website, however It is confusing for the normal consumer.
Loading of the thumbs takes some time, could be more fluent.
You immediately get a full size image in the gallery.
Your figures/character concepts aren't as good as the illustration works.
You have no work that shows "traditional" drawing skills like figure drawing or a still life/landscape drawing.
"Create like a god, command like a king, work like a slave."
Yeah, I was thinking about removing the figures. I was also thinking about removing the Mouse Knight illustration stuff.
As for traditional work, I have that, but I think putting up figure drawing exercises generally looks pretty "student" rather than professional, don't you think?
