    Question to art freelancers

I've been thinking about developing a game, however I'd need to hire an artist to work on it with me. Right now, I'm wondering what the typical price is for a freelance artist to make something like this?

    Question to art freelancers

In most adventure games there'd be a lot of scenes like this one.

Depending on whom you ask you'll be named a fee somewhere between $200 and $1,500.

I'll pre-quote Elwell: "One meeeelion dollars!" You know, roughly.
    What would Caravaggio do?

Minimum rate or a professional artist is 25 an hour. So minimum 200 a day, times how many days to make one final screen, times the number of screens in the game. Some of the games I have worked on had over200 unique screens in them. So 40k for 100 screens if you could design and paint and finalize a screen every two days; which most people can't.
