    The deer portrait is wonderful. I like the mixture of outlines and detailed brush work. and it's so fluffy! Superb work on the neck's and shoulder's fur. I even like the reflected lights on the left side and the light shining through the ear. Very well executed.

    The other digital works are missing the same contrast quality the deer has. You can push your darkest darks and highlights a bit further. Even think more about the colour of the light. The lynx creature and the dinosaur would work better with more coloured light in my opinion. They're kin dof dull right now.

    But overall, great start here. You're very young and this is good stuff here. Study daily, draw a lot and you'll be awesome in no time!

    Hey there Heyriel, I have not got into the habit of giving critique or any advice, but I'll say what I thought in my head ^^
    I wanted to take a look at your work and starting from the first landscapes-beautiful, the colours are vibrant and cheerful. Your line drawings of the horses-I love seeing the movement there, your people look great too, -it has been put in a better way by Valyavande, but being at this level when you're just 17 is something to be proud of!
    Anyway I'll be watching your art :3

    First of all: Thank you all so much for the lovely comments!
    @Zipfelzeus Vielen vielen Dank! Freut mich, dass du die Bilder magst -und du hast selbstverständlich Recht mit den Füßen/Händen, muss dringend mehr Zeit mit ihnen verbringen xD
    @AriyaLothiriell Thanks to you as well! (Legs are really...terrible :| )
    @Ehecod No problem! I'm glad my comment can be of help to you (And don't ever feel bad for writing long comments xD ) "They always come out as these weird, deformed-.. human-socks." Eeeexactly. Feet. are. terrible. :| But anyway: Thank you so much! I'll do my best to improve further -and update more frequently ^^;
    @anivy Thank you! -and I will (hopefully >> )
    @Valyavande You are definitely right with the darks, highlights and color of the light -thank you so much for pointing this out!
    @Akora Thank you~ I hope it won't disappoint in the future
    @Sobeca Yeha *highfive* It's always great to find same-aged ppl And thanks~
    ---------------
    Update, yay!

    Mushrooms. I like 'em. And I noticed that I'm really bad with shades and nuances when it comes to detail so...practice.
    1 and 2 can be considered failure (why are they green? srsly?). With 3 I got so frustrated that I ended up simply picking the colors from the reference to see what the issue is -and guess what? Too many midtones AND too little saturation. Turns out that by trying to avoid over-saturation I produced under-saturation, heh.
    4 was done considering all those new insights. I still need to push the highlights more and the hues are off but it's better than 2, I hope. What do you guys think? :V

    Wow. Awesome Update.
    I think you really have a powerful brush stroke in those four paintings. I like 1 and 2 better than 3 but 4 is my favorite. It has a bit more depth than the others. Reminds me that I should also do some studies like this.

    The fourth one's my favourite as well, I love the implied details of the... uh... bit underneath the umbrella thing (you know what I mean, right? ) and the colours are great too.

    That mushroom study certainly paid off! I think the colours in that one turned out perfectly with the right amount of highlights and saturation in and around the mushroom to draw your eye to it.

    Keep it up!

    You have a lot of potential! The deer is just lovely. And I really like the upright bunny. At first glance I thought there were three of them in one composition. I actually like the composition of the three bunnies in a row, like a marching bunny army or whatever profession they have

    Thank you much for taking the time to stop by and commenting on my sketchbook too

    Thank you all so much for the feedback!!
    But oh my, it's so embarrassing to have a Sketchbook with more comments than posts D:

    Sorry for the long inactivity, I kind of forgot to post here while painting so much (especially during the Christmas Holidays xD ) -Happy New Year btw!
    For now, first some hands 'n feet and a figure from way back in November, then two animals from late December. More sketches and WIPs of the above mentioned paintings will follow in 1-3 days (attempting to update more regularily ^^; )

    Incredible work! Always a nice jab to the ego to see someone younger than yourself kick this much ass at art ;p
    No, but really, I love your work. You must be practicing quite a lot, or maybe you're just a natural. Do you use references, or just draw from imagination?
    Oh und bist du aus Deutschland, Österreich, Schweiz...? ^^

    Hi! My name's Sarah too, although I turned 18 last month XD I like that your digital work has such a variation of colors with brushwork by hand instead of relying on textures, although maybe you could experiment with textures for some interesting effects (as people have already mentioned). You might try to get deeper values too I think. That last mushroom study amazes me though, wow. One tiny thing about the owl drawing, there's a tangent with the wood and the moon(I think, or the circle in the bg). If you moved one they'd overlap a give a little more depth.
    Really nice work, anyway! Are you thinking about going to art school?

    It’s great to see that you’re focusing on colours and I really like your pencil work. I’d love to see some more of your landscape work as well in the future.

    hey there! i just needed to take a look at your sketchbook after you've mentioned you're the same age and nationality as me c:
    you have a good sense of colour usage and man, do i love that unicorn in post #52. reminds me of one i had in a game.
    i'd say draw more stuff you aren't comfortable with. cities, technology stuff, a digitial painting of a human once in a while. of course it's up to you.
