    Moving to Chicago ... maybe

I may end up moving to Chicago soon, any tips on moving to the mid west from the northwest?
any strange traffic laws I should know of? no need for updated tabs.
Washington has some pretty wacky laws.
or should I check in with the chamber of comerce or something like that.
gawd I sound like a sex offender or something.

Chicago is a great fucking city... no weird laws, we drive on the right side of the road and everything. Seatbelt laws are being enforced like mad, though, I just got one a coupla days ago.

Rush hour around here lasts for about 5, but that's coming in from/going out to the burbs. Downtown learn to love the trains, they can pretty much get you wherever you need to go. Where are you thinking about moving?

    why move?

Originally I wanted to move because I live in an outskirt of Seattle and the jobs here suck, and I like thunderstorms and fireflys and Chicagos the place to be, and recently I found a game company I would consiter my dream job to work for, so I am working on a demo reel to send along with my resume and coverletter.

I used to live in Naperville and frequent Chicago often. It is, in my opinion, 100000 times better than PA or New York. The art in Chicago is beautiful and the weather is mostly pretty awesome (but winters = kill)

The city is inspiring and beautiful and it isn't TOO busy, but it isn't desolate or anything.
