i dont know much about painting, but i do see a huge amount of detail in the chest, and not much in the face. this seems very unbalanced, and makes him look very alien.
you should balance the detail, put more in the face or less in the body.
    otherwise an excellent pic.

well, if this is your speed painting, then how is your other stuff, i wonder?...:chug: it's great!

there is one critique though, the shadows to the sides of his belly are a bit harsh, which makes his belly pop out too much. maybe you'd consider more blending between dark and light areas to lower the contrast a bit...
    anyway it looks fine:chug:

He has the most perfectly flat, angular, unnatural nose that I have ever seen (gives Mr Jackson a run for his money).

This is extremely out of place, with the rest of the more natural anatomy. The weakest area in my opinion.

    my sketches here... http://conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=92997

lil'Tao - Thnaks for the crits. Your right about the face, I left it looking very flat.

sandrue- THnaks for the support. I wanted the extreme lighting & shadows, but maybe i did go a bit overboard.

SEVANS- Thanks man. Like I said before I left the nose lookig very flat. i'm going to have to change it, seems to be very noticeable.

    THnaks again everyone.
