    where do you sketch?

im curious, where does everyone sketche at? i draw best when im sitting down at a table, but blah, gets kind of boring. so i often find myself drawing in front of the tv on a bed... which isnt the most comfortable or best position to draw in. does anyone else have this nasty habit?

All the time. Most of the time when I sketch i'm sitting in a chair watching el televisio, but every once in a while i'll plop down on the floor with a pillow or two and sketch while laying down.

I draw at my drafting table, but I also keep a scratch-pad and pencil at my desk so I can sketch and doodle while I'm surfing the internet.

mostly i draw right here, at my desk. and so then i can draw while i browse CA.org
even if my Mac is off, i'll still draw here, its the only place i can in my house really.

but if i'm out, i'll allways have my sketchbook and pencils in my bag, so i might do some sketches in burger king or in the park or on a bench in a shopping center.

... but mainly at home in my room ^-^

anywhere my iPOD can come with me. I generally only draw in my house if its required - a cast drawing, my girlfriend modelling etc. otherwise i drive around the city, find some cool inspiring place (a creepy alley, a dock loading bay, abandoned construction site, something with character) crank on the iPOD and hit the book.

Less inside, unless digital (no laptop...yet!)

At my desk, at the kitchen table, on the couch, in my car, on the floor, in my bed, on my roof, ugh...pretty much everywhere.

I usually draw at home or in class. I don't draw in public because whenever I am in public I'm doing something I have to do and don't have time to draw. I guess I could go out just to draw people. I COULD, but I probably won't.

    in my sketchbook... har har.

i usually sketch at the least opportune time, like when friends want to go out bowling, or right before a ladder match, whenever i know it would piss other people off at the lack of my participation.

I sketch during class, at diners, bookstores, friend's places, my apartment, outside, and anywhere.

Just about anywhere I feel like it... My most recent area of interest is the Barnes and Noble Caribou Cafe at the Mall of America.
