My first post... Shall be a sketchbook.

Hello everyone, this'll be the starter post for my digital sketchbook here.

Gotta say... From the feel of it, this place is to art sites kinda like what Debian is to Linux distributions in general. That's not a bad thing, mind you, but coming from dA it's certainly different.

Right. Moving on to actual sketches. I'll try to post a new one each day.

First is a random car scribble I made to get used to Sketchbook Pro again.

Hmm... Gotta look into this Prelude thing, haven't heard about it until now. Thanks for the feedback, VK!

Posting another sketch before going to bed.

Well that was a long break...

Continuing the stream of sketches, this time some rough concept work for a friend. An anthropomorphic pangolin of massive proportions.

Like the cars. @ the woman, her neck looks a bit long, but your anatomy looks really good. Keep posting.

I'm diggin' your style dude, it's awesome!

I especially like the girl and the monster, not a big fan of vehicles, keep up the good work

    Long time, no post.

Tried my hand at clay modeling recently. Fimo soft clay, no armature, mostly manicure tools. Still waiting for a modeling tool set to arrive.

What started out as a self-portrait idea quickly devolved into a partially disassembled cyborg sketch that looks nothing like me.

    Oh well, good practice.

hey, i think that it is a nice idea to start with the cars and things you need a lot of perspective knowledge, because perspective is one of the most hardcore things xD well, for me^^.. your chars are looking good, there are no issues on the faces. try to draw a char from a more complex perspective, this will show you your weaknesses. keep growing and have fun!
