Choosing art schools
Hi everyone, I am a 19/20-year-old community college student majoring in art with a life-long dream of becoming an animator. I am in the process of choosing a school to transfer to and I don't know whether I should go to SCAD or School of Visual Arts in New York. I would choose CalArts, but I live in Virginia at the moment and do not have the time, money, or resources to move to California. If there are anyone who have been to either both of those school, I would like to know which is the better choice. I have looked up information on SCAD and SVA, both sound promising but I am having a hard time deciding.

Would you rather live in New York or Savannah? Which one will give you a better aid/scholarship package? What will your non-tuition expenses (travel, housing, etc) be? How many transfer credits will each school accept? Are you focusing on 2d, 3d, or stop motion? How do the faculty lists compare? How does the student work compare?
