I've been trying one-layer and speed paintings lately. In this one, pretty much everything except the girl was on one layer. Is there anything that I need to improve on here?

http://www.pixelovely.com/gesture/figuredrawing.php - draw a lot every day - all day. and study actual people. It's fine if you want to do comicy stuff but your going to need to understand how anatomy works in real life first. good luck.

Yeah, doing life studies is one of the things I do when I'm under art block. But I like to try and work on multiple areas at once - I want to try and avoid figure-floating-in-featureless-space syndrome.
