    Just great work.

draw in your sketchbook. ..it would be an honor. .and of course, youll have to draw in mine. .then i ll run away really really fast. haha

these color sketches are NICE. if this is what you do as a noob to traditional painting. ...i cant wait to see what youll be doing in a couple months. continue doing these

youve inspired me to throw some paints in the sketchbook.. . ..looks like a lot of fun

    peace buddy

(double post with the sijun sp thread...sorry for that)
tromcoy> thanks. i miss my CTRL+U and layer effects though
daarken > er, actually, i did try acrylics a couple of times before, but it was like 13 years back, mostly playing with abstract shapes. back then, i didn't have a single clue about values and colors. after all the photoshop training, i felt a bit more confident to try real media again and it actually feels a bit like using photoshop. so not totally noobish i agree.
jaggyo > thanks the 'deeper' pic is supposed to be a guy bending over, getting fist fukked. i don't know if i really like the idea but i'm glad someone like it : )))))))))))
davi > now you're talking, i'm like a trivia because of you
    aum > thanks
spacejukie> no gesso or medium, the paper looked thick enough. but i'm no expert with traditional media...but i should have ?
Erik> nice to hear from you man ! how was the trip to the mountains btw ?
    kazz >
    jackalanubis> thanks man
el coro > haha ! i'll leave the dogs alone, i'm sure they have enough hard time fullfilling your sick fantasies...man, every single piece i do in my sketchbook is like a tribute to you and you eye-opening works. take care dude.
brkofdon > thanks ! i'd say around 2hours for the two acrylics. the first one took like 1.5 hour, i was playing around without knowing what to do exactly, the second one felt more natural, maybe 20mins.
Philholland> thanks for the great discussions in austin and the kind words here looking forward to see you again in the next workshop maybe ?
Molly> eh, i never lie, i don't want to rot in hell
imglue > yup, guess wacom is like drug, so good and addictive but you also get all kind of weird side-effects
    metaphysiks > merci beaucoup !
    van > thanks.
majestix > i'm still looking to bring together lines and colors. i sometimes get the lines right with a pen, other times the photoshop colors are ok, but i have a hell of a hard time to get both synchronized and working together. i guess acrylics may help in that case.
metalwinds > i'm usually a fast starter but i get stuck pretty quickly also (both when painting and running actually ), but yes, i had a lot of fun doing these. it's like trying a new game/girl/car/toy/drug/pick-whatever-suits-you-best. anyway i'd love to see color sketches from you. next sketchbook update then ?
liam.c > you prolly could but i bet you would be bored as hell after 5 mns. thanks!

    heya HPX, nice update.
I really like the color and the abstract shapes to compliment the whole composition. Also i liked the perspective you add to your characters, that's pretty hard to me right now, but i'll try to emulate u sometime when i have 40 or 50 years old...
Keep it up and keep updatin'......
