I'd say that first one on top because every part of the face aligns in good perspective and the eyes have that wonderful "indented" feeling to them that makes the face feel 3D. The next one sticks out because of the round girlish look and cool expresion. They are all good heads, but those two stuck out the most to me. Ok so now a question, in case it hasen't been addressed already. What kind of pencil are you using? What size paper?

    Thanks much, awesome work btw.

Well once you scan it in it's difficult to tell the difference between pen and pencil. Besides, I don't see how it matters, I mean they make plenty of pencils without erasers on them.

wes > i'll sure let you know if i can make it to frisco (maybe somewhere around the end of the year). it was nice to see some familiar names for that decipher project. feels like having more austin fun
    willschnevel> thanks man
dns2k> it was nice meeting you man. drop me a line on msn when you get back online
metalwinds> hehe :firedevil next time we meet, you'll have to draw in my sketchbook...only after that i'll do the armbreak thing.
troymcoy> thanks. i used to write graffiti back in the days. guess it still has influence in my shapes.
metaphysiks>thanks for the feedback. your first crit made me realize how much i needed to work on my technical skills. it still very difficult to read my pieces as being intentional or just random fuzziness.
tyboogie> too bad we didn't get the chance to hang around together more. it was nice meeting you man.
one2hit> actually i didn't expect anyone to pick 2 heads as they are all fucked up in a way or the other, thanks. as for the tools, i use a bic ballpoint. it's like a good mix between a pencil and a g-tech pen imo. paper is a plain white sketchbbok. working with unexpensive materials is a good way for me to avoid being too cautious and stiff.
cartoonfox> thanks; that second one is also my favorite one of the batch
davi > thanks man. how's the trivia bot doing btw ? i miss it.

some acrylics on paper (+typo added in ps) taken from my new sketchbook.
i'm pretty a still noob with traditionnal painting

those are sick. did you prep the surface with anything like mat medium or gesso before painting on the paper? love your color schemes.
