    Captain America - Duty

Here is a new painting which made its premiere at the San Diego Comic-Con this past month. A pleasure to tackle, as Captain America has been a favorite of mine from deep in the past. I sought to portray the Captain as the hero I remember ...
and loved, helping the common guy get through the worst of times. We need to see our heroes, whom ever they are, in this type of action more often...

Really interesting how you tackled the background and ground in the front. I love that barbed wire. It's odd I'm focusing on it so hard!

Really admire the colour palette. It`s something that intrigued me since first seeing your work sir.

@bcarman: He did. I remember seeing a beautiful IronMan painting.
Here it is, in fact. Mr. Giancola, if you mind posting me this one, please let me (or the admins) know and I`ll remove it.

    Thanks again for the inspiration.
    All the best,
    D

Fantastic work! I do wish he had more of an expression on his face, however.

That's really awesome. Nice work. I love the motion in the painting. And all the faces really shows off the intense feeling on the scene. I love the guy on the right staring back into the center of the action. His expression and pose tells the whole story.

Just awesome stuff. Thanks for sharing, and thanks for the inspiration!
