Lancer; Cool man, I think you should go with the first one and put kind of a tilt to it, as a cheap trick to get some more action into the scene, it's what I always do

I never join in with these. And I have no idea why not. I'm moving house tomorrow, but it's worth a shot!

    Settled on colour/concept.
    Next up, thumbnails!

cool stuff Chips just two things: that blue's a bit too bright for the rest of the image, try lightening it so it's not so harsh. also, the flow of the composition leads the eye down and off the bottom right of the canvas. you might wanna move the guy up a ways so the eye has more to rest on and stays on the page.

    cheers man, its lookin good

Cheers Sporus! I'm glad it was clear. Perhaps ironically, more to you then to me.

Damn Lancer, reminds me of Windmakers style of colouring. I love the composition, it's great how the illusions arm brings the eye right back to the start of the loop. Will he be all faded and such? The narrative right now suggests the victim is being attacked by two chaps, opposed to one chap and an illusion. But it's early! So I can't really comment too much on that. Looking forward to seeing more!

creusa: not sure how much time you have left to work on yours, but you might wanna brighten up parts of the background to help the big shapes read more. right now the big creature dude is blending in a little too much. hope that helps

First and second WIP. My eyes totally skipped over the complementary color scheme focus so sorry for that, will try to change some colors if I have time.
