Hey thanks man! Glad to know that someone likes them! I enjoy doing them myself so I'll keep it coming ;D

Here's the king in his grandiosity. Sketching an illustration so I can do something more dynamic with him. We'll see how that goes.

More thumbnails and a sketch done today, I've kind of lost my ways with illustration-type pieces. Those that actually take longer than a day or two. Damnit! So I'm trying to get back to that since I enjoy it so much.

Doing the wild forest for my snow white project, this is a rough sketch of some sort of sanctum that you would find there I suppose! A last man standing piece I'm making, since it's the hot thing to do right now and I can't help myself. Love Dan Luvisi's stuff and have been for some years now. It's the cyberpunky samurai named Alister. And a sketch done while having a nice headache, I think it kinda shows.

Really digging these latest illustrations. For the Knight one I feel like you could make the fire in the background and the green from his sword be more dominant light sources for the character over all. Really like the Helicopter, the colors seem spot on for a desert storm feel, keep outside the comfort zone!

n1frit Thank you! I always try to focus on focal points, but not always on light. So thanks for the critique!

Pundt Thanks man, yeah haven't really thought about that. Also haven't figured out lightsources to that degree on armors yet. But I'll get there. I like it too, felt nice doing something outside the comfort zone that didn't turn out horrible haha! Thanks!

So I thought about your beautiful words while working on this piece. Trying to get more light dynamic, contrasts and colors. It's a WiP from the last post!

Mycket fina grejor! Diggade sillhuetterna av varelserna ett par sidor tillbaka, och de översta på denna sidan e grymma! Intressanta silluetter där!
Vad siktar du på med dina bilder? Jobba som illustratör eller konceptare eller så?

Murderotic Hey thanks man, I'm glad that you like it! Keeping it up as always!

Here's some croquis using aquarelle and some pencil stuff! The model paintings are done fairly quickly. It's actually quite relieving letting the colors float together and loosing control D:

Heya Flaskpost!

Here's an armorstudy, Tried observing some of the color reflection.

Some design variants. None of them feel quite natural or interesting, but it's getting there.

Designing Snow White now. This is by far the hardest of them all. I'm not really feeling her as a character. I supposed that I'm in a way too influenced by the archetype I'm used to seeing. But here are some brave efforts of me trying to figure this out.

Really digging that last armor study you did. Also like how you took that study(bears!) and applied it to something right away. Keep up the work!

Pundt Thanks man, I really like it myself! It feels like a nice way to apply studies, you should try it! I will man!

Some traditional sketches. Trying to get the hang of more design.

Okay so I tried setting a timer on 50 minutes to stay focused on one study. It worked! Did this study to observe more scenical lightning.

One and a half hour moviestill study again! I lost a lot of likeness along the way, but hopefully I got something out of it. The main focus was color and lightning.

Started sketching on one of the thumbnails that I posted before. Trying to use more layers and correct things along the way and make it suit what I want to achieve. Sometimes I forget that and just polish the turd. Don't do that! If he reminds you of something, it's probably true.
