I am gonna be THAT guy. Where do you hang out on CA.org?

Wassup beautiful people! I have been lurking here for a little while and I wonder how such a BIG site (the biggest I have been to) can facilitate an environment conducive to long-lasting friendships. The are so many forums and sub-forums and SUB-SUB-forums and members like crazy! How do you get friendly with all these people? Where do you hang out?

BTW I have basically lived in my SB thread so yeah it is my fault for being a loner and staying in one place.

Honestly Any public place that has lots of smokers. Nice animation btw.

Actually you picked a good time. It may not be too late for you to join the Team Challenge. I would invite you to my team but we are all filled up. But I'm sure somebody would be glad to have you on their team.

Reddit. Way too much. I need to stop.

    Here? Lounge and sketchbooks.

It's always great to see one of the sketchbook stalwarts coming

I suggest contributing something meaningful (as in, not just going to a thread and going "GREAT!" and leaving) and helping other people out.

I can help. How do I hep someone that is above me in skill, though? So funny I was in your SB yesterday and had nothing much to say but "great" or "cool stuff". I was GOOD though.

The Crit section as Elwell pointed you to is great for honing your eye and learning to really look. Just because you don't think you're as good, doesn't mean you can't point out areas that don't work for you and then you have to think about how you would fix it, and then you bring it back into your work.

Here and Art Discussion are great places to get to know the other members. Don't be afraid to have the Mick taken out of you - we're only human.
