    4th-reset's Sketchbook (striving for improvement!)

Hello~ as you can see I'm fairly new here. ^^
And a little nervous. > _ < So many awesome people here.

I'm 18 and currently a student studying at The One Academy Of Communication & Design in my second semester.

Ever since seeing the Sketchbook forums here I've been determined to practice sketching at least an hour or more daily to improve, I'll try to update daily. Please bear with me as I draw in a very anime-ish style. > _ <
    Striving for improvement \ o /

Any feedback, constructive criticism of any kind is greatly appreciated! I need all I can get to improve.

(This is all i dare to upload for now. Assignments from my first and second semester)

Hmm some nice stuff so far. When doing them studies like the planes of the apple at the bottom of your first post, try to apply what you learn from that to everything. You look at the apple and you can clearly see how its a 3d form, how it recedes as the forms turn away from us. Try to get that sense of form in space in everything you do, even anime.

@element1988 :Ah, I see. I'll try to keep that in mind when doing any sort of painting. Thank you! ^^

I tried to do some muscle/anatomy practice. My sketches are a little confused as I don't really know where and how to practice so I ended up trying to understand the muscles on the male's upper torso. However the reference I acquired is a little complicated and hard to understand so disasters everywhere.

I would appreciate it very much if anyone could link me to some good references as mine are a little too complicated to fully understand.

(apologies for poor quality. I don't have a scanner so for the time being I have to use my camera :c )

Practiced more muscles and tried to incorporate action(?) I hope that's what you meant Absorben. > _ < My gestures are a little bad as I haven't been practicing lately. My entire figure studies lessons this semester seems to be entirely dedicated to drawing human faces.

I found some better reference for muscles and have a shaky understanding of the pecs, biceps, abdominals and such. Much to be improved on.

    Feedback greatly welcomed! ^^
