    Your characters look like giants with those mountains so close to them.

    Where's the dude's left foot? It just disappears.

    EDIT: Oh wait...that's his right?

    If you're going to add a character, don't just slap it there, make sure it actually adheres to the already established perspective as the other characters do.

    i thought it might be able to use this to create a certain type of style to it

    character to the side
    independent of scene

    not working huh, doesnt make sense

    is it just the perspective that doesnt work, or doesnt work with the idea?

    How is she standing out there at all in that kind of environment with the current outfit she has?

    I have to ask, what made you think of adding her in the first place?

    Yeah, echoing Psychotime. You said you wanted to make the scene more interesting, but making an image more interesting is hard to do by just adding random characters that look totally unrelated to what's going on. I mean she has nothing to do with anything in the image both in her own look and with the fact that she's not in perspective, thus becoming a separate part of the image, and sure, you might make that work if you make it clear it's a design choice in the image and execute the image well enough, but the way it is is just confusing.

    Personally I think the first image had more interesting composition until you changed the ground plane, flattened everything with the colours and made the girl the main point of the image. Things you could have done with the image to make it more interesting could have been adding dramatic lighting and/or dramatic colours and also getting some ref to the mountains. Also I kinda feel that the expressions of the characters look more "real" and emotive in the sketch than in the lineart. You cleaned them up in a way that removed the original emotion.

    aw, i really wish i read some of these comments before i started working on it again T_T

    i was trying to do something like reducing the saturation as you go back into the image, but i dont think its translating properly. (the black and white image is the saturation mask)

    ... uh ... more changes pending -_-;;
