@lovingit - Yeah a few people have said that to me, but i have no idea of what it all involves or how to get into it. You have a contact email for your sister? If you don't mind that is, would be great to hear from someone who's involved with fashion.

@Kimonas - Cheeeeeerz dude! So many weaknesses though ahhh!

    @Yuzero - That's great, here's some more for ya!

Did these tonight, didn't have much time today. 3am drawings, how's that for dedication eh? Was determined to get something done! Think these are getting better, about ten minutes for each one.

And I know, I know. Feet.

Another update tomorrow? Let's go for it!

She used to work at net a porter so she was in the fashion biz but she's since moved jobs.

    https://www.facebook.com/cobaltcafe

You can try getting hold of her via here? Most of her stuff on there seems to be like little cartoons and stuff tho... but yeah that's her facebook page. Just put in the message title something like 'Your brother Kelvin told me to ask you blah blah'

SKETCHBOOK / PORTFOLIO / ARTLORDS / ART STATION / DEVIANT ART / FACEBOOK

Oh and if you want to watch me paint live I recently got introduced to this thing called picarto TV... It's nice to do art and share it - if you have any questions it's great to talk too! I'm painting pretty much 12 hours a day so you'll most likely find me - unless I'm eating

Loving the first girl in the face sketches.

I'd love to see you do some finished character concepts with iterations and all.

    Great work as always!

Them facial proportions are becoming legendary! Well done man Keep hacking at those figure drawings. Try to clearly render the chest hed and pelvic forms - trust me, will be mega useful when you start doing more complicated poses.

    Is it a study?
And the face on the bottom right is amazing!! http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...9&d=1431745274
For the top right one, I think the back of the neck shouldn't be so far back on the skull though
I can't wait until you become even more amazing at painting because you have drawing downnnn.

@Dndallasta - Thanks dude, I actually based that one on Ariel, haha. Think it's fun to try and recreate famous characters. As for full finished characters, yeah, that's the aim in the end, want to get somewhere on the level of Ross Tran. Longs ways to go but I hope you stick around for the journey!

@Kimonas - Thanks K! Haha, not quite, still have all the hard angles to do. Once I can do them decently from memory then I'll be happy! As for the figure, i was gonna wait a while before rendering, but maybe i should look into the planes now. I think I'm ready.

@ Tetherball - Glad you like them! Yeah she was meant to be wearing a jacket collar but I guess I didn't show that very well. Haha I wish I had drawing down! Though it's good to know I am getting better.

Alright here's one from tonight, I was using a fake kind of oils technique in Photoshop, took me hours to get around the process before i even started the painting, stll didn't quite nail it exactly. and not happy with some other things, but I do like the look. If you wanna see steps just ask, was really fun

Haha, proportions are really decieving, realised I gave her a really long face. Sort of let me know to take more care in the construction phase. Edited it a bit.

I'll post the steps tomorrow, also started another study which I was having fun with, will post up the finished version tomorrow.

Had a chat with Kimonas and he advised me to do still lives and figure painting to really get to the next level Can't wait to level up!

    but now, time for bedzz

Felt like I needed to work on my drawing ability. Here are some KSE studies I did, plus some of my own trying to really apply and understand the technique, quite proud of my Will Smith! haha
