Hey brah, just looked through your stuff again, you are really nailing portraiture. Looking at your imagination stuff - to make it work i think you have to work on gestures, anatomy and still lifes (to get all the materials looking cool). You have what it takes, and you must know you have the talent to do it. Try and make a plan and try and stick to it, you have the power son.

If you manage to do this, we will tremble and quiver at your awesomeness.

Whoa, you have incredibly smooth, clean lines, keen grasp of form and colour... I want this skill! *Steals*..

But, more seriously, I hear it thrown around quite a bit that: "Study, don't copy." Words of wisdom!

And now I'm off to do a painting study. Take care, and keep up the awesome work! I'm going to keep an eye on this one for sure!

@Kimonas - Thanks man, it's good to know, I still need to learn to understand the skull and the structure of each feature, especially things like eye distances at various angles. Lips bum me out all the time as well. You're right I need to do all that stuff!

@Misty Feather - Thanks so much! How did the painting study go?

Painting study went well, I think. It was Lilith, by Collier. One of my best so far.

Love the faces you drew, keep it up!

Wow, hardly derp. Love the girl. Reminds me of Harley Quinn. Or a female joker. I wish I had constructive feedback, but I don't! They look awesome to me. I need to get more amazing so I have useful things to say.

Hey dude really liked your last one - def a step in the right direction - putting a defferent background colour works - cooler than the skin and desaturated a bit really makes things pop, but im sure you knew this already :0

Thanks for the comments guys! And thanks for always sticking around my sketchbook, I know I don't get much traffic here but it's nice to see you always popping in, it's one of the reasons that motivates me to keep posting

As for the background yeah, I kind of just didn't bother too much about it, I think the best portrait paintings really take the background colour thoughtfully.

Here's a derp from imagination. Kinda surprised, I quite like it!

Going to go back to the old sketchbook now, I think that's the best way to learn, so I'll have more soon.

Yeah! Wow! If that's from your imagination, I'm really impressed. You're applying a lot of what you learned! MOAR MUST BE MADE. Keep it up!
