Cammy sketch from tonight, haven't finished yet but thought I'd upload. Went back to the Maughan method.

Cammy done, really want to keep going with faces until I get to a really good level, that's why it's mostly portraits in here, not really concept art I guess I want to get to that same level with anatomy, and then we'll see. Environmental design interests me and character design too. So sorry if you're all fed up of portaits hah.

Hello. Post 19 is really impressive, I love the colours. I think the Ironman stuff is good but you should definitely concentrate on creating your own designs and not doing too many (why not dream up some new suits?) Also your rendering seems stronger than your construction, I think a little more time on the proportions and placement at first will really pay off. Great portraits though, especially the girls. Good luck and keep up the studies.

Thanks Dayle! Definitely see what you mean, I guess I have maybe got stuck in a copycat style without being truly original. I think that is when people are more likely to sit up and take notice. Did you mean the rendering on my portraits or general? I actually thought my drawing was better than my shading/rendering lol

I really love your recent portraiture. It stands out stylistically as really original!

I still think you need to work on sculpting facial anatomy. Study the skull, etc.

    very nice work overall.

Thank you very much! It's great for someone to say such a nice thing, I'm still working hard on portraits but need to branch out in to other areas too.

I just got a couple of loomis books so I am working hard on head structure!
