    Sto..story boards...brain..is about to..to..explode!

I now know I never want to be a story board artist for a living. Like an idiot I commited to doing 12 different scenarios each one consisting of 8-12 different shots, for Intel. I have two days total (this is day 2..) and I am done with 6. I have been working on them non-stop and only got 3 hours sleep. I am getting to a point where this is feeling like torture. I don't know how many more over the shoulder shots of buisness men on laptops I can handle....AHHHHH! -sigh- I had better get back to work...

    Thumbs down

i had to do a gay story board like that once. it was torture.
it was a wireless network comercial, and i had to show the journy of a data packet through cyberspace.. and yes,,, lots of over the shoulder shots of guys on laptops and palm piolets... GAY.

i cringe at the thought of it now.
ill never do anything like that again.

    Unhappy

I'll nod to that. Storyboarding is very difficult.

I had to do a storyboard sequence for my final in one of my classes. I had to do 10, 4x5 images. I only managed to finish 4.

I really should have gotten a low grade on it... but I went the extra mile when it came to the rendering, though. I think I was the only person in class who used a full value system. Most only used 3.

    But yeah, storyboards are difficult.

    Good luck, though!

Thank god. I finished this morning after staying up all night. My finger is actually bruised from drawing so much in the past few days. I swear I will never do 30 pages of storyboards in 2 days again...

Hey, just try approaching it from a different angle. Concentrate on coming up with really creative camera angles and use good lighting as design. Maybe that will help. Luckily most production storyboards don't need to be finished pieces and can have a much looser, sketchier quality.
