    E.O.W Round #193:

    E.O.W Round #193: Venetian Queen's Floating Palace

Topic = The Venetian Queen's Floating Palace
    suggested by Pixie Trick

Inspiration is things like the palace style floating restaurants such as Jumbo in Hong Kong, Roman Nemi Ships and Thai Royal barges.

--I'll be posting a finals thread every week, so you can post your final artwork there.

    Deadline: July 30, 2012

Congrats to Dile_ and SMILEFACE for their tag team victory for The Lost Fleet EOW! New awards will be awarded very soon, I already sent out a recent list.

Can this be completely fantastical or do we have to adhere to the idea of it being Venetian AKA 15th/16th century level technology?

Vulgar: Thanks! Not so sure I'll make the deadline... the doodle I start working on last night morphed into a weird robot creature, but I'll give it another try lol

    First try at environments

Hey I'm new to the environments page, and digital art to a degree so I'm all ears for critique, aid, or whatever. Here is my WIP. BTW what dimensions do you guys normally post the images as.

Started off with thumbnails then started sketching two of my favorites (#15 and #6). I was gonna set a pot of coffee and start developing the second one more but I just remembered I gotta be up in a couple of hours. Anyways, I gotta think of a way to incorporate a "palace" into the second one, or at least make one of the buildings more prominent. Right now, it's more of a sky village than a sky palace. I'll figure something out.
