I chose Beauty and the Beast. Initially I was a bit more obvious with the element, but decided to tone it down and drew on the stained glass window motif from the disney film, cause it's my favorite.

When I was young, we had a book of fairy tales with these beautiful delicate watercolors. That was the look I wanted to recreate.

I imagine most women would find a strange man kissing them when they were sleeping creepy rather than romantic, and following the lead of the original stories, our prince has something far more licentious in mind...

Didn't think I'd get to finish this one in time. but a cool topic to do.
Thanks for all the hard work admins!

The most beautiful thing we can experience is the
mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all
science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who
can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe,
is as good as dead: his eyes are closed.

After the death of his two brothers, something snapped in the now not so little third pig.

    Good, Job everyone,
congratulations Varguy excellent illistration. Not much else to say!
Warburton I liked how you used the style of a childs book, it did make the blood more uneasy.
Sharon J Your wimsical Watercolor realy was a pleasure to view, the witch was great.
Hemlock-Key I realy liked the concept, I think you could have stayed on target and pulled off what you were trying to achive. More hair and Beasty look would have realy sold that picture, even if technicaly there were issues, I think people would have forgave you, Go all out, Good Job.
Kafka Dreams, realy creepy, I liked how the guy's expression captured his sleezy'ness'.

I had alot of fun lets do it agin some time
