Some quick sketches. Top left is Sigmund Freud, not sure who the top right is, and the bottom is James D. Watson.
In accordance with LaCar's now famous first post, I am going to be doing more value studies. This was a quick 15 minute charcoal sketch I did last night (also my first time using charcoal, also an idea from LaCar.)
Trying to understand value better.

Some sort of a spider robot. I'm trying to quickly draw simple shapes with a little perspective. I'm not too concerned with the design elements or that its not quite like a spider.
These are two photoshop portraits, which took about 1-1.5 hours each. Let me know what you think and how I should improve.
