    thanks for feedback

you have nice and clean designs, your studies look solid

i think it will be wise to create some more deliberate painting from imagination to practice what you've learn

for practicing color is good to observe and paint still life especially with oils or in digital oils

    cheers

Great work i think in some of these you could go even brighter in the highlights. Makes it look more realistic

when you making your character try more focus on shading and gradients from a bow
    like that
than for this base you can render whole image

Wow, your studies are so great!
For some of your digital paintings from imagination, I recommend being a little more experimental in the colors you use to shade. So for example, you can use dark purple instead of dark blue to shade regular blue. If you open a picture and move around the color dropper you'll be surprised at how different some of the shadow colors are to the local (or I guess you could say "base") colors.

Your concepts are fabulous! Keep it up! :]

Great sketchbook. Your designs are definitely getting better. This one has some unique stuff going on.

What I would suggest is trying to construct feet in perspective as a sketching practice. It might help making your characters look well positioned on ground. Also just legs in different standing poses in general.

    Keep going .

Hey, thanks for stopping by my SB! :3

You have such great work! I did notice that for some of your designs that the faces seem to be worked more realistically than the rest of the body. I'm not sure if that's the style that you're going for, but it's just something I noticed flipping through.

    Keep it up! ^^

ninaren-thanks and i know every day is something new!!!
joe777k7-thanks, i wasnt sure about the colors, im glad you liked it!
farvus-yeah i dont know why all the designs i decided to paint were my weakest designs -_- ill do some better ones and yes i know my feet suck :b i will practice with that
    johnny24-thanks!
xkotu-thanks and yeah i notice i tend to spend a lot of time on the face just cause i hate when it looks wrong but i want to get into the habit of spending just as much time on the body

i finally tried to clean some of my drawings, it was actually all in the brightness and contrast :b anyways i cleaned up the first two sketches as a test, the first one is and old sketch i thought looked better cleaned up. i still like the uncleaned versions too though? :b

Your photo studies look great, but the work rendered from imagination seems to have a lot of issues where volume is lost because of missing overlaps. For instance, in post 183, this image loses volume around the midsection because neither the bands on the waste nor the pillowing of the shirt affect the silhouette or take a viewpoint into account. It would probably help to do some rhythm line studies.

You're gaining some good intuition with color use and I envy your ability to portray different surface material types. Other than the stuff mentioned above, your work is looking very polished.

    Hi matey

Just gone through the SB end to end again and I have to say that you are coming on in leaps and bounds mate, there are some seriously good things going on in here. If I was to crit anything it would be to get you to try and get more gesture and movement into the images, some are great and are very suggestive and yet others are very static by comparison.

Just a thought is all, all the best with the work and thanks for taking the time to post it all.

A great kind hearted lumbering bullock

Your rendering is amazing man, and I love what you're doing w/ the branch wing girl. Maybe try pushing yourself and create a figure with a strange/new perspective?

    !

Just realized I was posting on a completely out of date page.. Anyway you've got some nice improvement, my challenge still stands

Awesome style you got here. Like everyone else has mentioned...your pencils are spectacular. I think that self portrait with the paint is just terrific as well. I'm jelly.

hey man thanks for stopping by sketchbook and the words of encouragement. Your work is pretty hot buddy love your imagination its pretty twisted which is good. Your pencils are very inspiring jealous of the way you render buddy. Looks like you have spent a lot of time studying anatomy. Really enjoyed looking through your work cant wait to see more for sure.
