You've got some awesome looking studies. With your cartoony style that you're working on, it's a great start, but be very aware of keeping your proportions and placement consistent. They don't have to make sense, just needs to be consistent and stable. c: Drawing through and trying to think about them as 3D same as realistic things might help them look more stable.

If you have the time, please stop by my sketchbook, Chock Full o'Nuts.
I would appreciate any advice or critiques.

    The pencil stuff is awesome!
    Good proportion and nice shading.
Some of the stuff you do in color is a bit out of proportion.
The colors themselves are quite monochrome which can look somewhat sterile.
Be more aware of saturation, too! Saturation is just as important as hue.

    Keep up the good work!

Thank you for the visit Kev.

You have alot of great sketches in paintings in here.
But looking on some of them on page one i think you sometimes tend to treat everything just "too foto real", yet in the later ones you've learned to simplify things with smart strokes and better color choices. Well i guess that means progress eh? :]

I will try to stop by more often, cheers.

Cool stuff and thanks for dropping by my SB too!

Looking at your stuff, I can tell that you are pretty good at rendering. You'd probably make a natural painter.

As for practice, I'd suggest doing a few more still lifes and really trying to get a better sense of form and mass. Some of the drawings look rather 2D still. Trying some gesture drawing might also help you "loosen" up a bit more, too. I seem to have the opposite problem as my drawings are always too free flowing. Haha. But we gotta work with what we have and fight our own demons. I'm sure you'll keep on improving with more time and dedication!

Keep up with the hard work! All the best!!

Once again, lovely pencil renderings. My advice would be to make sure with every drawing you do that you learn something from it to carry over to your imagination drawings, keep it up

Your pencil and digital stiff have a nice balance! I usually tend to look if someone is better digitally or traditionally,
and it's not the case. Nice work you have here, thanks for sharing

OH thats sick. I like it as it is. To me it already feels finished. Due to the already strong values in the face and the little bits of detail in the mouth as well as the textured brushes used to create the appearance of skin. I love it has an strange creepiness about it. Keep it up. One last thing was this done on painter as well?

weeeooow just as I was gonna post I noticed your age O.o. Sure it doesn't have much to do with your art, but as I was already mighty impressed from what I saw, I am now flabbergasted (not sure I know what that means, just like the word ^^).
