Alright? I'm looking to improve my technical ability, with an emphasis on the digital media.
Here (i think) are some digital studies one from life and one from a photo
i have a load of traditional stuff but my scanner isn't working
edit: pictures changed for the sake of changing the thumbnail

Thank you both for your responses, i will follow your advice. Here are some more digital studies, from life and from photos, i'm mostly trying to get the colour down more than anything.

not a very productive day, done some traditional stuff but still can't scan it. Also been trying out different blending techniques in photoshop, heres today's best effort (still awful). As well as this i have started reading colour and light for the realist painter and some of Loomis' books.
been working on perspective mostly in the past few days
today's stuff, mostly loomis. The scans seem a worse quality today for some reason.
JoshDArtist thanks for stopping by man
a little stuff, i will hopefully have a big update tomorrow.
I really just can't into landscapes.
The Electric Ant: thanks
A study, quite pleased with this
loomis 'n stuff
couple of wips but i can't be bothered to carry on with them really. Also been doing a lot of Loomis and some 30 sec figure drawing might upload some of that stuff at some stage.
self portrait innit. Jaw is a bit wrong but its ok for my first digital self portrait.
Very nice book so far. Your perspectives are freaking awesome!
thanks very much Pete
study, face is very off but i did some experimenting and may take this further if i feel inclined.
pencil update, mostly loomis and studies, need to do more from imagination.
Study of Beetlejuice and some awful landscapes that i tried to do on one layer trying not to focus on details.
a landscape study and a landscape without reference which looks like crap.
Cool stuff! Your anatomy studies look like they're helping out already . Your landscape studies show a lot of promise too! I really like the two you posted before your latest post (#22). They're simple but they seem to work really well.
Keep it up! Can't wait to see more !
Please drop by my sketchbook and help me improve!
bobtail: cheers for that
Been looking at architecture all day, only have this study worthwhile to post.
Not updated for a little while. I will be stepping it up soon, trying to change my focus from more arty stuff to more design type stuff. But anyhow heres a portrait and a landscape, i have been using mostly just 100% opacity in these.
big traditional dump. been trying to do some suff from imagination but mostly just studies and its mostly just awful.
some crappy pencil studies
