    Jacob.Dunn.Art - Rebuilding Myself.

    Hello,
My name is Jacob Dunn and this is my epic journey to becoming an incredible artist. I've returned from taking a break after I graduated with my B.S. in Video Game Design.

So subscribe and follow me. I'll be posting as much stuff as I possibly can! I'm going to grind myself down to sand, go through blood, sweat, tears, and carpal tunnel to make a dream happen.

This creature is called a Phorak.

Seem to need to learn how to blend a lot better. A lot of my work comes off muddy.

Trying to learn blending in photoshop, also learning going from black and white to colored.

    Apple study

Tomorrow my goal is to wake up and draw straight for 12 hrs.
That means i'm going to try and draw 12 fruits 1 hour each for practice and studies

    Wish me luck!

    avocado

3rd hour down. This one I thought was going to be pretty quick and easy but the texture in it gave me some problems. Seem to have dropped the ball on this one but, oh well next time!

-Cgaddict- Thanks a lot Also grats on being the 1st one to comment on my stuff! I appreciate any and all input, not only nice but any critique is always welcomed.

If I can get 5 different users to comment on my work and this sketchbook , I will add an extra hour , working 13 hrs today.

The last hour I will dedicate to you all and make a creature design sketch

    Rasberry

    The raspberries tastes like raspberries.

This time I tried to just go straight in with color. I like the non-black/greys look. Very bright and fun though it seems to be a little harder trying to think of value/color.

Anyways, one of my favs so far.

    Pear

Quick 15m pear study. I guess since I was drawing fruit so much yesterday i'm kinda over it right now. I'm really in the mood for creatures/horns specificially.

So off to study some horns/tusks

    Horn Study

Tried some quick horn studies tonight

Sad to say but i'm rather frustrated with trying to learn blending.
My stuff never looks finished/blending well. Been watching some videos

Pen pressure set to opacity pen pressure, shape dynamics to %70 min., flow set to %25 percent.

If anybody knows a better way or have a video/pdf/something to learn from plzZzzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzz show me.

I watched anthony jones recently make a LoL character fanart from black and white and then smooth soo well and I'd like to try to do that too.

    Thanks,

    -Jake-
