mcreation - So is the hologram projection outside the ship? Interesting idea, nonetheless. You're the first one that went with the hologram approach, I think. looking forward to the finished piece.

daniorrr - No problem. It looks great. Fine job on the symbol, too.

Parsakoira - Nice job with the colors. I can't color for my life unless I have a decent grey scale. Her face is lovely.

I messed up and forgot to save my progress after my last post and I didn't want to redo everything, so I painted as best I could on the low res jpeg. Ugh!

I'll add some bolts and textures to make the bg look like the dirty, battered side of a battleship.

Parsakoira: I fucking love this. She might be a bit too nice and prudish though? I mean, mine is on the other end of the spectrum, but maybe show some leg? And her head is too big

I'm calling this pretty much done. At least done enough for now.

Just an update on what I have so far. Colors are going to be readjusted accordingly to be more appealing. Just doing some organizational stuff

christoffer, yeah its outside the ship, so the crew can interact with it!!! yeahh i was seeing too many "painted on ship pinups" that i tried a dfferent apreach, specially nowaday with the "not" so recent 3d tecnology, and kinects and other stuffs it seemed to me the logical thing were some type of 3d interation in the future pinups
your is looking good, and yeahh i thing adding a textured ship background will intensify it.

tuner i like your punk aproach, but the slimy tentacle that seem to come out of her genitals is too weird for me, it translates to me as transexual or anything like that, (not that i have something against transexuals) so she seems to me to me more slutish style, than pinup style
parkasoira like the steam punk feel of it, but is she sitting on top of the ship, or is that the painting for the ship?

Pixeltuner: thanks! I dont know if i want to give any more bare skin, the spandex look works for me
mcreation: She is in fact sitting on a spacecraft, thanks!

Made some really drastic changes, first of all i decided to crop it out a lot, just to give the character more focus and making the whole picture more balanced. Also tweaked the pose a bit and resized her head.

    J8stine - Go rocket boots.

Pixeltuner - That's one slutty lookin' synthetic.

dcyue87 - Nice, clean linework there.

Parsakoira - That's coming along beautifully. I read what Pixeltuner said and I think have to agree that her head is oh so lightly larger in comparison to her upper body.

ChaosTheory - Nice wink. What is the earth-shaped thing suppose to be, btw? Is it a ball or an oddly shaped prop?

    I'm calling this done.

Parasakoira: In the name of all things good in art, don't do that crop. It makes the image way to 'contrived'. The open space you had before made stuff breathe and such

And her head is still huge, the jawline goes almost from shoulder to shoulder. She should be pretty much 3 heads wide, you hardly make it to 1,5 or 2. It can work but maybe the eyes should be a bit smaller then. She's a bit Total Recall now :p

Update for today, hope I can get this finished by tomorrow....
I am kind of new to posting so don't feel worthy to give much crits, but am loving the range of styles and ideas though.

Pixeltuner - Always loved your chow entries, this is no exception!

Parsakoira - I wouldn't crop it, looks far more interesting uncropped. Also its been a long time since I seen any of your work, got to take a peek at your sketchbook!

Christoffer - Love the design, especially the chest plate, could use some colour though.

Trying to make the uniform more sci-fi looking, but right now the hands are giving me problems.
