‡‡‡‡‡ Weekly Checkup ‡‡‡‡‡
Here is back at yah <> Like the little hooded SW looking dude <> your pencils have a freshness you seem to lose when you get in the paint <> try not to tightin up <> your life studies have a great feel but your shading seems disconnected from the line work <> remember they are both there to do the same job (describe form)
Thanks for shaking my cage once in a while <> know that it is greatly appreciated

Hurricane: Haha Didn't even spot that... I've taken care of it though.. update coming on that one soon.. Gotta get the other pictures that go with it done first. Thanks for the praise! I'm not worthy!
Mindflaw: Heheh.. Nobody calls me a chicken, goddamnit! j/k Yeah.. I'm enjoying myself.. a little sleepdepraved, but it's all good..

pennington: Thanks, dude! Appreciate it mucho!
A few pencilpages:
I'll get back to all of you tomorrow! Thanks for the kind words, ya'll!
Man you've done a lot of hard work here.. Increadible improvement from first page!!! oO Congrats for that man, i really like what i see here.
Lot of detication for work, blood and tears. It motivates and inspires me at the same time!!! Thanks man
Love the color choices here: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...jJfxXsMall.jpg
I dunno why you wrote "crap" on this one: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...jJfxXsMall.jpg ...perhaps because it's hard to tell what kind of animal it is? Whatever the reason, I think that's a pretty sweet drawing...hatching makes the forms very convincing, and the pose is just awesome, it tells a whole story...
also like the recent fish...
like the idea and the body language here: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...T/24010604.jpg but the execution is rather stiff...not sure why, maybe her slight sideways lean seems unnatural.
Like the pencilpages, like the fish inspired by hurricane. Do more
Like everyones saying, u have made excellent progress, so just
keep on posting and drawing !
wow I really like your last two digital paintings of soldiers on the field of battle, great stuff, I love the overall gray colors you choose for the palette of the two.
I also find your brush stokes very intersting. Keep plugging away, really good stuff. Your pencil drawings awesome, just remember to keep doing both, drawing and painting. great stuff man
Fantastic improvement. I like your imagination drawings. With every new update they look more dynamic.
Jokisalo: Thanks, man! Appreciate the kind words! Glad I can be of inspiration..I look in your thread for the same thing
TFK: Thanks, man! I'll try to keep the dynamics over into the digital medium. I'll try to get some more lifedrawings scanned soon!
max: Wrote crap, cuz it didn't go the way I wanted it to... I don't know.. I just got this fed up feeling from it.. hehe.. It's cool that someone likes it even so, though.. heh.. The last one with the woman in bed has gone digital since... I think I've sorte4d out the pose.. I'll post that later sometime.
Qxzi: Thanks for dropping in again! I'll try to keep ya'll entertained
Darktwin: Glad you like, man! I won't ever give up on drawing..love it too much..hehe..
Farvus: Thanks for the kind words, man! Appreciate it!
Just a small digispeedy for today... I've been working on some moodboardish pictures and a few excerpts from storyboards for a short movie (the first thing with the soldier and the woman on the bed are sketches for that project) I'll post those images as soon as I know more.. It's been a hectic few days lately what with my dayjob, and doing those pics at night, but it's been a fun ride!
Soo..like I started out with... just a small digispeedy for today.. ~1hr
thanks for all the kind words, people! I'll stop by you guys' SB's asap!
heh, looks a bit like ted from Scrubs.
I think you'd gain more volume if you used a smaller version of that 'multiple-brushstroke-brush' you used for the hair and shadows. Still, I like the roughness.
hey! great sb here! ALOT of progress since first page, dude. serously. ALOT!
the digitals are looking really good. especially that orc fella, and this http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...dierSpeedy.jpg
that last speed portrait looks good too man, but when you´ve used the same brush for the skin as for the hair, it looks a bit odd.
cuz that brush would work fine as just for the hair.
well, just keep it up!
good progress man !
just keep at it bro !
The comb-style brush here gives this a really neat effect...kinda trippy...very cool.
Nice orcpainting, man. Keep it up!
good little digispeedy. I quite like the effect
Keep it up and post more!
