    First time here!

    Hello!
    So I drew this recently:

It's a fanart of the Koi Neopet.
I got a ton of people at school and at home saying they really liked it, but...
I dunno. I'm not really feeling it at all. I feel like there is a lot wrong with it, but I'm not sure what. I asked around, and was eventually directed to this site, so, here's hoping someone here can help.
I'm really sorry if I'm being a bother, I really don't know what I'm doing at all.

Hey I am going to red line some stuff for you just give me a second because my tablet is acting up.
Because I do not want to scale it down because you need full size to see critique.

Whoa, thank you so much! That's a big help, and I think that will help me make it much, much better. Seriously, I can't thank you enough!

Edit: Oh, but I should mention something about the hand-fins. I'm drawing a converted Koi, which looks like this:

    Oh alright I understand.

Study some human hand anatomy as well as some cartoon hands so you can understand the underlying structure behind them. And you should be good with the hand fin part.

So, I've started working on it again, and even though I've hardly done a thing, thanks to you, it already looks much better!
    So thanks again.
