pauloricardo: Pure coincidence; Azog is so generic, you can add random details and you'll get other creatures. He is sort of archetype, not a character. He still is badass looking, though!

That smoking owl is genius! It really conveys how you were probably feeling . Keep them coming.

Tee hee, love the owl. Except the cigarette. I don't want the owl to get cancer, lol. Awesome work though, really nice values and sculpted quality. Keep going!! GOOooo.

The bichrome tech warrior are outstanding. So pro. I'd like to have the brush you used there. And yeah, the owl is so damn right! I suppose we all exactly know that feeling. Why in the night, when creation and silence comes together we have to be tired?! Well, about you, are you art working at the moment? Some freelance maybe? I hope, cos you deserve it.

Thanks everyone! You can find more owls here: http://fyeahartstudentowl.tumblr.com/

BlindLynx: Thanks! I used Jama Jurabaev's brushes, google his name and you'll find them. They are amazing. Not much freelancing, I'm doing an illustration for a client now, did a couple of concepts here and there; mostly things I did not really enjoy.

Thanx sword! Very kind to share... I'm so new to concepting that I don't even knew this great artist. I love his stuff... Tomorrow I will try this brushes set and I will let you know. Can I ask you how much time it took to make the two cyber warriors up here?
And about the owls, your's is the best cos you painted it! (but the Chris Burden one made me laugh too =D)

Lynx: I took me about an hour for both of them.

I picked up oil paints for the first time in my life. I'm quite pleased with how it came out. It's still partly wet after three days, though. Homemade paint thinner that is.
