I self published a book on the fundamentals of drawing from life

    Hey Peeps,

Some of you who are learning to draw may be interested in the book I just self -published on the fundamentals of drawing from life. It's a collection of fundamentals I've learned from studying with Ron Lemen, Jeff Watts, and through various peeps in this community over the years.

Turns out, spending 10 months putting a book together is entirely different than getting somebody to read your book, ha! Hopefully some of you who are learning how to draw will find it useful!

Looks awesome, i may have to pick it up. You may want to make a post about it over on reddit: http://www.reddit.com/r/Art/

"I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain."

Your last name isn't present on the amazon page.

Thanks peeps, I appreciate the kind words. I've put a lot of work into it over the last year; done my best to really present the straightforward useful information that is easy to understand for everyone.

Nice book! I like what appears to be some healthy anarchist politics on your blog too. :-)

    Grats on the book!
I can imagine how much time and effort it took.
Saw the first pages and looked good!

Thanks for the kind words, peeps. I appreciate the encouragement.

I am putting together a partial PDF version of the book that I will be sending to teachers as a promotional version. If you teach any classes, and may be interested in using the book, please shoot me a PM or email and I'll send along the PDF to you. Thanks!

Also peeps, for those of you who bought the book, I would appreciate if you could review it on Amazon, for better or worse. No name calling, but I always welcome constructive criticism. Thanks!

ha. I don't adhere to a specific group, but I often think along those lines. Taken to the logical conclusion, any brain should end up somewhere near there.
