    studies

Here are some copies of photos I did on photoshop - I didn't take colors from them,I chose it on PSD palette as I want to learn using it as it's so different than classical painting.

    the church

So I tried to sketch my own fantasy city...I like my ideas but the drawing itself is crap...

Then I decided to go step by step and to break it down on buildings - so I started with the church...again....I like the idea but the drawing is....crap....

Then I decided to go even slower and break it on pieces and study the shapes and light...where would light come from? How the shadows would spread?

Now I am exhausted and little frustrated and will work on it in few days...

very nice start, great studies, loving the first one...

here is what i have for crit: perspective, practice perspective, one can see clear flaws of perspective in the fantasy city you are trying to create, give some time to it..

anyways, do a lot of studies and keep it up, you are doing great
