    Creative ways to make money?

Anybody got any good but not common ways to make some quick money? Aside from "work" which I do, and "sell art" which I can't. Just wondering if there was any cool things to do to make some extra cash I hadn't thought about...minus the above, and minus "sell stuff". Thanks

You could always donate at a sperm bank. They pay for donations, don't they?

Well, aside from sperm bank, heh, theres also donating blood and or plasma.

You could be a figure model for an art class if your not shy.

You could do QA testing for a software company, though its not much more than min.wage and is a job in itself. Not really quick money.

Uhh.. you could rob a bank? A famous quote tells me its where the moneys at.

My girlfriend keeps telling me theres lots of busy street corners too..

You can also subject yourself to various experiments preformed by medical companies.

I know a gal who took pictures of the local theater group's latest dramatic production cast, in costume, then made digital portraits out of the pix with Photoshop. She did it for practice, but they came out so good she was able to sell them to the cast for $25 each, unframed.

I know you said you didn't want art sales ideas, but it's a good one!

complete those survey's at testing centers pay pretty well. Course there is a limit as to how many you can do within a certain time. Some pay 4 dollars, other pay 400. It's all timing.

Alright, I think everyone knows that old people will pay tons of money for dumb shit. So, why not go to a retirement home and do portraits for 10 bucks a piece?

Or be a scam artist! Like, get a friend to hold a video camera and you ambush people when they walk out from the ATM and be like "DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY CHILDREN DIE EACH YEAR FROM POVERTY IN AMERICA?! IF YOU'RE A PATRIOT THEN YOU'D CARE A BIT MORE! Just put some money into the box please." See, you didn't ask for a donation, you just gave some random fact about America and they gave you money. You're also forcing them to give you money too. The camera is there recording how unselfish, and patriotic they are if they donate, and if they don't, they look like greedy bastards who are unpatriotic! I personally wouldn't care if I was viewed as unpatriotic or greedy, but a lot of uppity people would!

People on ebay bid on dumb crap all the time. Like, sell your invisable friend or something.

medical experiments pay really well. they'll sometimes pay $400-500 and put you up in a hotel for 2-3 days of work depending on the study. i ve heard of people getting even more. psychiatric experiments(sleep studies/surveys) pay too but less. they do alot of experiments near colleges and med schools so look there for more info. selling plasma will get you about $20-50 each time. i dont know how much sperm banks pay but i know you can only donate so many times a month. but you can always go to different banks.

i heard that you can sell your body to science for $7000. they take your body after you die for disection in medical schools and experiments. i dont know if this is true or not. i would sell my body in a second for 7Gs. i think its just an urban legend though.

A good friend of mine sold plasma twice a week for 2 years to buy his new computer.

Of course, he did splurge every once and awhile and go out to eat.

I don't see why they need to pay 7k for your corpse. They actually use hobo corpses because no one claims them.

buying and selling of cadavers is a big business. people at UCLA got into some trouble for selling cadavers that were donated. i think they sold some to johnson & johnson and the US army for testing on mines. i recentely read that one cadaver sold in pieces can get upwards of $150,000 if you know the right buyers. so there are organizations that deal strickly in the sale of cadavers to medical institutions.

Why can't you sell art? Have you taken a vow or something?

You are near/in Seattle, you could also break into the brass pig when nobody is looking.

Seriously though, your work is not bad, I am sure you can find a gallery to hang some art in.

This is what I do for money.

I go to a pizza kitchen, a carpet cleaner, a mortgage broaker and say:

"Hi I pass out flyers to houses $00.10 a flyer 200 flyers a day ok?"

    And they say yes.

And so I get my 600 flyers, put on my roller blades, take off my shirt and go up and down streets blasting flyers on people's doors. I make like 60.00 a day for around 5~6 hours work. It isn't bad because it's easy and I like to cruise around talking to people and taking it easy. Also these places pay me cash (no taxes!) so I'm making the equivalent of 90.00 a day.

Now if I overlapped some houses (I put say 50 carpet cleaning flyers on top of the pizza flyers) I could save time and do another 200 flyers afterwards. But I'm a nice guy and I don't.

come on mike, just sell your body...i don't think there is one person here who would shun you away if you became a gigolo for art supplies

-=or you could take the opposite route and manage a little stable of friends and "lease" them out to paying customers=- what? i kid i kid.

(no really... this could b you ---> imp: ) :ahha:
