    Question Photoshop chalk brush misbehaving?

Hi, I am very new to digital painting so this might be a really dumb question

But I am trying to use the default photoshop chalk brushes (I am using the CS6 trial) and when I look at other painting videos they use the default ones, but it feels like they are getitng different results for when I am doing it.

I have tried using different brush setting, but I cant seem to figure it out.
YES I know that the brushes isnt the most important thing but I really want sort of the same effect

    Thanks in advance

PS: Here is a video I am trying to get the same brush effect: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xCmz3XuS6TI

    Thanks, I`ll try that
Decided it was a smart choice to start at episode 1 not 50 with his videos...
