It's amazing to see how well defined you have achieved to do your last studies! Great work! Maybe I'm going just to point out that you might want to work a little bit more how to render the hair, think it falls a little bit behind in quality in comparison with how you achieve to render the skin. Also you might want to sharpen the edges of the contours a little bit more.

But they look incredible! Great job and keep it up! Cheers!

Edit: Forgot to say, your eyes renderings are mind-blowing! I hope some day I can achieve to do them so greatly, have a big deal of troubles when painting eyes. Maybe it's because I don't look them close enough and I end up missing things that make them so lively.

Hello, I just wanted to say I'd been watching your thread in the critique section with much interest. And have just finally stopped by your sketchbook. You have some terrific paintings in here, and you do a fantastic job with your rendering. I will say though, that both there(in the critique thread) as well as here, it appears you have a comfort zone, and you rarely venture outside of it. I think you could make some very cool things, but seeing the same pose and face view becomes redundant and more importantly, kind of diminishes your talent. Because the viewer(me)would love to see more variety. Regardless, your gonna do what your gonna do. Keep up the nice work.

You have some fair realistic portraits. However, other than as exercises, I don't really see the point of exerting yourself so much into trying to make them look exactly like the source photos, instead of putting all that hard work in your personal works...

But that's up to you and none of my business, of course.

Just one more thing: the butterfly on your #72 post; apart from the veins, it looks like a nicely done male Morpho menaleus didius... but on the wrong side! you can check it here. Morpho species ALWAYS have bright blue (structural color) just on the dorsal side of the wings, and opaque ocelli (pigmented color) on the ventral side. Anyone who had seen one will notice right away; be careful with that.

Nice, nice, i like the last two posts in particular that sword chick in armor. Nice colours, nice details.
Other than that, your characters are nice in general. What I think you should pay more attention and
perhaps consider varying is the nose. It seems to me, most of the times you draw it a tad to long.

Keep up the good work, chya !

the scar in the last picture looks quite weird to me... usual scars are much shorter, which is given by complicated shape of the face...
the place between eyes and nose have too hard edges
anyway, I understand this is a sketch or WIP...
    nice work here
