    some life drawings....

these are life drawings i did....some may look good, some bad....C+C are welcome...
the person on the top is a friend i know and the other one on the bottom is supposed to be ash from Army of Darkness...

and i felt i needed more practice on drawing women...i've always had trouble drawing them...

i find victoria's secret catalogues, a very good source of female body refrence.

    so..what do you guys think?

    Do you know the muffinman?

I think the women look great. Their proportions are really good...and really...no woman is the same so it's cool. Um the thing that I would work with is speed and pencil mark. If I where you I'd by a very cheap newsprint scketch book and do a series of sketches...(about 20) for about 10 seconds each. It sounds ridiculous but, it really helped me to loosen up and stop being affraid of attacking the paper without hesitating. It doesn't mater if you get a stick figure with a couple of circles the point of the excersice is to try to get as much of the figure in paper without putting alot of pencil strockes and to get the hang of making dramatic pencil marks.
