    Lexi's Sketchbook

Hello, I'm here to learn and improve. I don't have any particular focus in art right now, I just want to get better. Though I do love drawing animals and making up creatures.

I want this sketchbook to help me track my progress and hopefully collect some harsh and helpful critique from anyone willing. I'm going to be a junior in high school and I plan on working my butt off.

A big fat thanks to everyone who looks here

-A doodle I did on a blank page in my biology workbook
-A fish skull, piranha, and mullet for practice. I read Dagon and wanted to sketch a scene from it but then I realized that I couldn't draw fish. The skull was referenced form the internet and the two fish are from my giant DK natural history book.
    -A random fish monster

Good start, The pirahna fish is cool. It would be nice to see some studies from observation.

    Keep drawing, keep posting!

    Lightbulb

Oh wow...I've been lurking here for a while, but I completely abandoned my sketchbook. I was in the hospital for awhile and haven't updated it since. Anyways, here a messy exercise I did from Ctrl+Paint.

Also my copy of The Practice and Science of Drawing by Harold Speed came in today. It's the first book I'll be studying from
